NACAC WAIVERS

LIABILITY: I acknowledge that I will be participating in NACAC National Conference events and activities of my own free will and intention. I assume responsibility for all risks associated with my participation in these events and activities. By registering for this conference, for myself, my estate, and my heirs, I hereby release and discharge and agree to indemnify and forever hold harmless NACAC and its members, managers, officers, directors, agents, volunteers, representatives, and employees, from any and all causes of action and damages arising from or relating to my participation in the virtual conference, except to the extent caused solely by NACAC’s negligence or misconduct. I also agree not to allow any other individual to participate in my place (unless I notify NACAC of the need for a substitution for my conference registration in advance and such individual executes the registration form and any required agreements and releases).

CONSENT TO USE PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES: I understand that by participating in the NACAC National Conference, I grant NACAC the right to use my image, video or quotes for internal/external use.

CANCELLATIONS AND SUBSTITUTIONS:
  • Virtual: There will be no refunds for the NACAC Virtual Conference. If you are unable to make the virtual live conference, you will have full access to all the content on demand until October 25. If you would like to transfer your registration to another individual, please do so via email at dmtcenter@nacacnet.org.

FACE COVERINGS POLICY: Consistent with the guidelines set forth by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, any person over 2 years of age entering the Event Venue(s) is required to wear an Approved Face Covering at all times. The only exception to the foregoing is when actively consuming food or beverage provided that any attendee who removes their Approved Face Covering for consumption maintains at least 6 feet of distance from any other attendee and remains sedentary. There are no other exceptions to this policy, including under the Americans with Disabilities Act, as not wearing an Approved Face Covering poses a direct threat to the health and safety of other attendees. If you have an accessibility need, accommodations should be requested in advance by writing to conference@nacacnet.org or calling 1-800-822-6285 ext: 15

An “Approved Face Covering” is a face covering that meets all of the following criteria: (a) covers both the nose and mouth and fits securely under the chin; (b) fits snugly against the sides of the face without any gaps; (c) has two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric OR is a medical-grade mask such as a surgical mask or particulate-filtering rated mask approved for filtering most particulates of the novel coronavirus (e.g. N-95); (d) does not contain exhalation valves or vents; and (e) is not a neck gaiter or bandana. A face shield is not an approved substitute for wearing a mask. The Event Organizers reserve the right to reject any face covering or mask as inappropriate which they believe, at their sole and absolute discretion, to not meet the standards necessary for keeping attendees safe.

Any person in the Event Venue who refuses to comply with this policy or the directions of Event Organizers will be removed from the premises, will be barred from re-entry, and will not be entitled to any refund or exchange (but such is without prejudice to any other remedies available to the Event Organizers now existing or hereafter arising regarding any refusal or failure to follow this policy). Event Organizers will exercise their sole and absolute discretion in determining if and when to eject any attendee for failure (or repeated failures) to abide by this policy. Given the dynamic nature of the coronavirus pandemic, the policies regarding face coverings and other safety protocols are subject to change at any time at the sole and absolute discretion of the Event Organizers.

ON DEMAND CONTENT ACCESS:
