Directing a Dynamic College Counseling Program is an intensive preconference workshop designed to support secondary school college admission professionals, college counseling department directors and supervisors, aspiring directors, and veteran counselors, in the acquisition of essential tools, resources, and knowledge pertaining to the field. The workshop includes content focused on defining and aligning departmental vision, industry challenges and trends, as well as data analysis and leadership. The facilitators of this workshop provide hands-on training, expert panels, as well as resources to support participants.
Topics to include:
- Defining and aligning your mission
- Examining your college-going culture
- Building and managing a college counseling program
- Admission trends and industry challenges
- Data analysis and action plans

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5242. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. NACAC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
