Advising students on the application process to performing and visual arts schools may seem a daunting task to counselors more intimately acquainted with traditional liberal arts colleges and universities. Depending on one’s background, a counselor might find assessing students’ talent and fit for arts programs a difficult mystery to penetrate. Also, performing and visual arts colleges often have unique criteria for admissions, such as pre-screening materials, auditions and portfolios, in addition to the standard academic requirements.
This seminar requires an additional fee and can be purchased during the registration process.
