The United Kingdom is an ideal study destination for students seeking a high quality international college experience. Hear from the British Council, UK universities, and fellow college counsellors about university admissions in the UK. This session will cover the nuts and bolts of the UCAS application and personal statements, discuss nuances of UK admissions such as predicted grades, provide tips and resources for counsellors and families, and direct counsellors to the most objective information on studying in the UK. In addition to learning about the admissions process, this session will cover what makes a 'good fit' student for UK college study. Finally, attendees will also learn about innovations in curriculum design, such as the resurgence of the UK Liberal Arts degree and the expansion of fast track two year programs. Counsellors will leave empowered to help students navigate the UK admissions landscape and find the right fit.
