Continuing Education (CE)
The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5242. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. NACAC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
All CE eligible sessions are listed below and marked with in the digital program book and on the schedule within the NACAC Virtual Conference platform.
Individuals interested in gaining credit for the 2020 Virtual Conference must complete the Evaluation for each session to earn credit. Attendees must complete the form by October 31, 2020 in order to have their certificate sent in the first batch. Anything submitted after October 31, will be reviewed and processed at the end of each calendar month.
Certificates will be emailed 6-8 weeks after the conference.

Hmong American Students in College Admissions: Disaggregating Asian America
Of all the ethnicities that make up the demographic category Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI), few face as many challenges in college admissions and retention as the Hmong. Hmong teenagers have the highest dropout rate among all AAPI groups--as high as 40% according to some estimates. 38% of the Hmong population have not completed high school. Nine out of every ten Hmong girls quit school. This panel will share some successes and challenges experienced by Hmong American students.
