Tremendous networking opportunities, the chance to visit colleges in another region and amazing professional development sessions are the top three reasons I look forward to attending NACAC every year. It's such an enriching experience in every facet of my job and I always leave the conference with a renewed energy to bring back to my office.
My favorite part of the national conference is connecting with current and former colleagues. I interact almost daily with colleagues both on the secondary school side, collegiate side, consultants and other agents of collegiate access work. Mostly, this work is done virtually or via telephone or e-communication; the NACAC National Conference is the only time of year where I can access all of these partners in education in person.
The NACAC National Conference is a highlight of my conference calendar each year. The opportunities to learn, share, and network are limited only by the number of hours in a day. Presenting and sharing key insights and strategies is something I always look forward to.
